Present application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR No.156/2015 for offence punishable under Section 498-A, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code and proceedings of R.C.C. No.180/2016 pending before learned 6th Judicial Magistrate First Class, Gondia. ii.

Non-applicant no.2 has lodged FIR in question due to the marital discord between applicant no.1-Ritesh and herself. iii.

During the pendency of the proceedings applicant no.1-Ritesh and non-applicant no.2 Sapna have amicably settled their matrimonial dispute. Pursuant to the settlement, decree of divorce by mutual consent is passed by learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Gondia in HMP No.212/2019 on 2102-2023. Nonapplicant no.2 by filing written submissions dated 31-03-2024

Applicant no.1 is present in the Court and nonapplicant no.2 is present through Video Conferencing. Both are identified by their respective advocates. Non-applicant no.2 has confirmed about the amicable settlement of matrimonial dispute and has no objection to quash the proceedings against the applicants.
