None appears on behalf of the applicants.

However, since the case diary is produced, with the assistance of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor Mrs. Kalyani Deshpande, I have considered the matter on merit.

It does not appear that there is any material to connect the applicants with the crime. The applicants are no doubt named in the report but then the basis appears to be suspicion and the fact that the applicant 1 Vidhyasagar has criminal antecedents. In view of the limited role attributed to the applicants in the crime and

2 aba 164.2021 the absence of material, the interim pre-arrest protection granted vide order dated 17-3-2021 is made absolute with the only modification that till filing of the chargesheet, the applicants shall attend the concerned police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer. 4.

The application is disposed of.
