The Petitioner has challenged notice dated 12 January 2022 issued by Respondent No.4 - Tahsildar, Bhiwapur. This notice seem to recover an amount of Rs.2,47,400/- as arrears of land revenue. It refers to an order passed by the Tahsildar, Bhiwapur in respect of fine imposed for illegal excavation of mineral.

The fine was imposed by the Tahsildar, Bhiwapur by an order dated 24 September 2018. This is the original order holding the Petitioner guilty and liable to pay fine. We are informed that this order is not challenged. As the original order is not challenged, the Petitioner cannot resist recovery of the amount under the order which is an amount of fine. Therefore, no relief can be granted in this petition.

Writ Petition is rejected.
