By this writ petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the Election Officer deleting the name of the petitioner from the final voters list. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent-Election Officer to include the name of the petitioner in the final voters list, so that he could participate in the elections.

Shri Deopujari, the learned counsel for the respondent-Election Officer states that the elections to the society are already concluded on 20.3.2016 and the cause for filing the writ petition has been rendered infructuous. Shri Patil, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute this position.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
