Since the petitioners are senior citizens, we permit them to appear before the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Nagpur, before whom proceedings initiated for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act , 1881 are pending, with a request for expeditious disposal of the said proceedings.

In case if such a request is made, the Court of Judicial Magistrate shall have regard to the status of the petitioners as senior citizens and shall make every endeavor to decide the said proceedings expeditiously.
