On the last occasion i.e. on 04.04.2022, this Court had directed learned A.P.P. to take instructions as to whether Ranjeetsingh Gulabsingh Chungade has died or not and to place on record death certificate of Ranjeetsingh, in case he is dead. In pursuance of the said, Senior Police Inspector of Old City Police Station, Akola, has filed affidavit stating that Ranjeetsingh has expired on 16.09.2019. He has also placed on record death certificate of Ranjeetsingh dated 04.11.2019 issued by Registrar of Births and Deaths, Municipal Corporation, Akola, which is marked as Annexure-4, to the affidavit dated 09.03.2022.

In view of death certificate dated 04.11.2019, certifying death of Ranjeetsingh Gulabsingh Chungade, Criminal Appeal No. 145/2019 stands abated. The appeal is, therefore, disposed of as abated.
