The petitioners are assailing communication dated 24.02.2023 issued by the respondent 3 - Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Society, Chandur Rly.

Perusal of the said communication dated 24.02.2023 reveals that the petitioners are asked to show-cause as regards the allegations/statements in the complaint dated 10.02.2023 received by the authority from one K. B. Kadu. The said communication calls upon the petitioners to submit the explanation on or before 03.03.2023.

The petitioners contend that the communication is issued at the behest of a local politician.

We do not find that it would be necessary to delve deeper in the allegations. However considering the submission that one society which received a similar

2 919.wp.1295.23.odt communication was protected, we disposed of the petition by directing the petitioners to co-operate in the enquiry by submitting the explanation within the next ten days. Needless to observe that any action which may be taken shall be taken only after hearing the petitioners in the matter. We further direct that if there is any adverse order passed, the same may not be given effect to for 72 hours from the date of its communication to the petitioners. The petition is disposed of.
