The Petitioner has filed this petition only for a direction that the appeal filed by the Petitioner to the Board of the Respondent which is pending, should be decided in a fixed time. 2.

Such a direction, without knowing the pendency of appeals before the Authority, the workload of the Authority, will be an adhoc direction. It will also amount to giving priority to

The Right to Information Act, 2005 has empowered the citizens with various actions. If the Act of 2005 is applicable to the Respondents and the request falls within the ambit of the Act, it is always open to the Petitioner to seek the status of the appeal. Thereafter the Petitioner would have his remedies in law. 4.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
