Dhore, Adv and Shri N. Gurnani, Adv for the petitioner CORAM : Z.A.HAQ, J.

DATED : 04/03/2019 Heard.

While considering the application filed by the respondent - wife under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, the learned trial Judge has issued notice to the Bank Managers of ICICI Bank and State Bank of India, directing them to furnish the extract of accounts of the applicant. This order is challenged by the petitioner in this petition. According to the petitioner, the respondent - wife has not prayed for such directions to the Bank Managers and the trial Court has committed an error by seeking extract of accounts of the petitioner which is personal information. The petitioner has not been able to point out any prohibition in law which dis-entitles the Court from issuing such directions. On going through the impugned order, I find that the learned trial Judge has issued the directions to the Bank Managers to produce the extract of accounts of the petitioner as according to the learned trial Judge, it will

I see no reason to interfere with the impugned order.

The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
