NAIK & MRS. SWAPNA JOSHI, JJ.

DATED : 24th November, 2016.

Heard.

The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the Respondent-Zilla Parishad to decide the representation of the petitioner for grant of deemed date promotion to the post of Office Superintendent from 2000 and, on the post of Desk Officer from the year 2003. According to the petitioner, though the petitioner has made a representation to the Zilla Parishad for grant of deemed date of promotion on the two aforesaid posts, the said representation is not decided despite a direction by the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati, vide communication dated 4.2.2016 to take a decision on the same.

Since the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous, we dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within four months.
