The applicant herein has sought to condone the delay of 298 days in preferring the appeal against the judgment and award, dated 17/01/2019 passed by the Reference Court.

First Appeal St. No.4732/2020 :

By order dated 06/11/2020, this Court had stayed the execution and implementation of the impugned judgment subject to deposit of the balance amount of compensation within a period of three months.

Learned Counsel for the appellant states that the cheque was drawn in the wrong name and seeks extension of time to deposit the amount.
