Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the report filed by the Collector, Chandrapur for taking action under the provisions of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999 is pending with Secretary of Finance Department. He submits that purpose of filing petition will be served, if Secretary is directed to take a decision within time bound manner. We are of the view that instead of making process time bound, it will be appropriate for the Secretary to take decision as expeditiously as possible. Order accordingly. With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of.
