This is an application for condonation of delay in 1ling the statutory appeal 1led by the original claimants challenging the award passed by the MACT, Gondia.

By this appeal, the applicants/appellants sought enhancement of the compensation.

Learned Counsel for the applicants submits that there is a delay of 89 days in 1ling the appeal which occurred for the reasons mentioned in paragraph 02 of the application. It is pointed out that the applicants being the rustic villagers were not aware about the legal aspects. Notice of the application is served upon the respondents.

Mr. Kadu, learned Advocate appears on behalf of respondent no.1.

Having regard to the contents of the application and the submissions advanced, delay of 89 days in 1ling the appeal stands condoned.
