DATE : 07.11.2025 This Court by judgment dated 15.01.2019 held that claimants herein are entitled for total compensation of Rs.7,93,124/- along with 9% interest from 07.09.2016 till its realisation.

It is expected from the appellant that when the above order was passed, the same should be complied as expeditiously as possible. However, it is seen that appellants are in deep slumber though the specific order is passed by this Court.

In the circumstances, the claimant is required to file an application for issuing direction to the appellant to deposit the amount awarded by this Court.

In such circumstances, it is clear that the appellant is avoiding to comply the order of this Court. At present, almost six years have been expired but order is not complied with. Today, the learned AGP appearing for the appellant states that within a period of three weeks, the amount will be deposited as per the judgment of this Court.

It is made clear that if the appellant failed to deposit the amount, the appellant No.1 shall remain present before this Court and state as why the appropriate action shall not be taken against him in the matter. 6.
List the matter after three weeks.
