DATE :- 6th MARCH, 2023 Leave granted to correct the description of the respondent by referring to the Scrutiny Committee at Yavatmal. The corrections be carried out forthwith.

Considering the short issue involved, Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned counsel for the parties. The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of her tribe claim of belonging to 'Halbi' Scheduled Tribe. The petitioner being a student, she seeks expeditious adjudication of her tribe claim. Ms N. P. Mehta, learned Assistant Government Pleader on instructions submits that the tribe claim of the petitioner would be decided within a period of three months.

Accordingly by accepting the statement made on behalf of the respondent, the tribe claim of the petitioner be decided within a period of three months and preferably by the end of May-2023. To enable consideration of the petitioner's tribe claim, she shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee at Yavatmal on 13th March, 2023. Rule is made absolute in aforesaid terms. No costs. (M. W.
