DATE : 20/01/2023 1] The application dated 4.3.2016 has been claimed not to have been received by the petitioner and it is contended that what was received was a blank envelope without anything inside it. The application dated 4.3.2016 at record page 20 is in a very generalized term and does not specify any incident, any contract or any person in respect of whom the information is solicited, making it absolutely impossible for the authorities to gather the information and supply it. 2] Faced with this position, Mr. Ajay Padmakar Tumme, the Respondent No.2, the person who has solicited this information, undertakes to file a fresh application with the proper specifics on or before

3] Upon the receipt of the application, the authorities shall within the statutory period act upon it, in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Information Act.
4] In view of the aforesaid position, the impugned orders are hereby quashed and set aside and the authorities are directed to act forthwith on the application to be filed by Respondent No.2 and provide the information in terms of the provisions of the Right to Information Act.
5] Petitions are disposed of in above terms. No costs.
