CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO. 209 OF 2021 Heard learned Advocate for the applicant and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the non applicant-State.

The applicant is convicted in Special Electricity Case No. 42 of 2015 under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for a period of six months and to pay a fine of Rs. 9000/-. During the pendancy of the criminal case, the applicant was on bail and he has not misused the liberty granted to him. The learned Trial Court has suspended the sentence of substantive imprisonment of the applicant.
