Civil Application No.923/2023 is taken out by the original petitioner alleging contempt committed by the respondents for non-compliance of directions issued vide judgment dated 30/01/2023 in Writ Petition No.1838/2018.

We are of the opinion that since the writ petition is already decided, the application cannot be considered and decided in writ petition that too with regard to contempt proceedings.

Civil Application No.737/2024 is taken out by the original petitioner alleging contempt committed by respondent No.2/Bank by filing forged documents and making a false statement on oath by filing false affidavit dated 14/02/2024.

That being so, we direct the registry to club Civil Application Nos.923/2024 and 737/2024 together and register them as a single contempt proceedings.

On these applications which are moved by the petitioner which now are directed to be registered as independent contempt proceedings, we permit the non-applicants/respondents to submit their reply within a period of three weeks. Stand over to 24/04/2024.
