The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 48/2021 registered with Police Station, Chamorshi, Dist. Gadchiroli for the offences punishable under Sections 65(e), 65(f) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

On the basis of secret information, the agriculture field of the applicant was raided and illicit liquor worth ₹ 6,90,000/- was seized.

The applicant has criminal antecedents and is already facing three prosecutions for similar offences. There is ample material in the case diary to link the applicant with the crime. Considering that the investigation is ongoing, it would not be appropriate to exercise discretion in favour of the applicant. 5.

The application is rejected.
