In view of proposed order, the requirement of issuing of notice to respondents is hereby dispensed with. 2.

It has been stated by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that against an order terminating the agency of the petitioner, he has preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority i.e. Zonal Manager, Life Insurance Corporation of India, West Zone, Mumbai, under Regulation Nos. 20 and 21 of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Agents) Regulations, 2017, which is pending consideration for about last ten months. Prayer is thus an appropriate direction may be issued to the Appellate Authority to consider and decide the said appeal expeditiously. 3.

Having regard to the innocuous nature of prayer made in the writ petition, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Appellate Authority i.e. Zonal

21-WP-7101-2023.odt Manager, Life Insurance Corporation of India, West Zone, Mumbai to decide the appeal said to have been filed by the petitioner against the order terminating his agency, with expedition and positively within a period of two months from the date certified copy of this order is produced before him.

We specifically observe that the appeal shall be decided in accordance with law and the Rules and Regulations applicable thereto.

We further clarify that we have not expressed any opinion as to the merit of the claim made in the writ petition.

With aforesaid directions, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
