This application is filed by the applicants under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita for quashing of the First Information Report (FIR) in Crime No.278/2023 registered with Ajni Police Station, District Nagpur under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

FIR in question was lodged by non-applicant no.2 alleging ill-treatment at the hands of applicants. During the pendency of application, parties have amicably settled the matrimonial dispute. This fact is confirmed by non-applicant no.2 by filing affidavit. Wherein it is also stated that compromise
2 apl 236.25.odt terms are settled and parties are acting on them. Compromise terms are placed on record at Annexure-R-1.

Applicant no.1 and non-applicant no.2 are present in the Court. They are identified by their respective Advocates. Non-applicant no.2 confirms amicable settlement of dispute and has no objection to quash the proceedings.

In the result, application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b).
