The period of detention set out in the impugned detention order dated 24-09-2020 has since expired. Mr. Mirza, learned APP submitted that the period of detention in this case was only one year commencing from 24-09-2020. 2.

Now the period of detention has already expired, the relief in this petition, has been rendered infructuous. Leaving all contentions of all parties open, the petition is disposed of accordingly.
