Heard Shri A.S.Bhendarkar, advocate for the applicants and Shri S.M.Bhagde, A.P.P. for the non-applicant. The applicants are arrested in the crime registered against them for the offence punishable under Section 304-II r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code on the accusations that they had put a wire with live electric current for hunting wild animals on the side of the road. That the victim who was going on his bicycle towards his field fell on the live wire and died because of the electric current.

Considering the nature of the reckless act of the applicants and the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to consider the prayer for grant of bail at this stage. The application is rejected.
