The Additional Government Pleader Mr. Thakre informs that after the award was passed by the respondent No.6, the acquiring body has already deposited the compensation and same shall be disbursed within a period of two weeks from today.

In this background, the grievance raised in the petition stood redressed.

However, we make it clear that for enhancement of compensation, the petitioner can take recourse to the statutory remedy.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
