SHUKRE, J.) 1] Heard Shri Parchure, learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Sudame, learned counsel respondent no.2 appears by waiving notice and also Shri Patil, learned AGP for respondent no.1. 2] Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally by consent.

3] The petitioners are claiming seniority from the date of their entry into service. Some of the petitioners and also other similarly affected officers had made a representation to respondent no.2 which is not as yet decided.

4] Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if direction is given to respondent no.2 to decide the representations in accordance with law in a time bond manner.

5] In view of above, the petition is partly allowed. The respondent no.2 is directed to decide the representations of the officers pending with him, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks

from the date of the order.

6] We also direct that while taking such a decision, the direction given by this Court in its order passed 24.02.2021 in Writ Petition No. 2753 of 2020 along with Writ Petition No.1568 of 2018 shall be borne in mind.

Rule accordingly. No costs.
