Prayer is for grant of compassionate appointment after substitution of the candidature of the petitioner No.1 in place of the petitioner No.2. 3.

The issue is already dealt with in the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court delivered in Writ Petition No.3701 of 2022 (Kalpana Wd/o Vilas Taram and others Versus The State of Maharashtra, through its Secretary, Ministry of Social Welfare, Mantralaya, Mumbai and others) and other connected writ petitions on 28-5-2024.

We direct the petitioners to appear before the respondent No.1Chief Officer, Municipal Council, Pusad on 31-7-2024. The Chief Officer shall take decision afresh on the proposal to grant the compassionate appointment, including that of substitution of the candidature of the

2 WP-1671-2024.odt petitioner No.1 in place of the petitioner No.2, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioners before him.
