Learned Adv. Mr. Hazare submits that the applicant-appellant is in jail since 7th September, 2013 and the maximum sentence awarded is of seven years and, therefore, the sentence should be suspended. Looking to the opinion given by the medical expert as stated in para 23 of the judgment of Trial Court that the sexual intercourse took place, I think the appeal itself should be finally heard within six months, and if the appeal is not heard within six months, the application for suspension of sentence and grant of bail shall be renewed.
With that relief, the application is disposed of. Office to prepare a paper-book at the earliest. Judge |hedau|
