15th March, 2017 The claimant seeks permission to withdraw the amount of compensation on the ground that the claimant has been advised cataract operation in both eyes. Document dated 11th February, 2017 to that effect is filed on record.

The prayer is opposed by the learned counsel for the appellant on the ground that the compensation awarded is on a higher side.

Perused the impugned judgment. For the present, the claimant is permitted to withdraw an

amount of Rs.10,00,000-00 [rupees ten lakhs only] on filing an undertaking that in case the appeal is allowed, said amount shall be repaid with interest at such rate the Court may direct. Remaining amount shall remain invested in a Fixed Deposit.
