2) We permit the petitioner to appear before the General Manager (Personnel) of respondents on 01/10/2024 with written notes. The General Manager (Personnel) shall decide the claim of the petitioner in relation to grant of promotion to her on the post of Deputy Manager (Community Development) expeditiously and in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

3) We request the General Manager (Personnel) to be sensitive to the fact that the petitioner could not join duties at the relevant time on the promotional post as she was pregnant and thereafter delivered a child and as such, humanitarian approach needs to be taken.

4) Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of with liberty to approach afresh in case fresh cause of action arises. 5) Needless to clarify that other ancillary issues in regard to the confidential ratings, etc. shall also be considered, if so canvassed.
