Applicant and her son have been prosecuted for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 304 (B) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that they are responsible for abatement of suicide by deceased Naina, daughter-in-law of the applicant. As far as this applicant is concerned, it is generally alleged that deceased Naina was subjected to torture and harassment by her. Applicant is a woman, aged about 57 years. Moreover, charge-sheet has been filed in the matter.

For all these reasons, in my view, applicant now can be released on bail.

Application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant be released on bail in crime No. 18/2017 registered with Police Station, Kalamna, Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 304 (B) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on her furnishing PR Bond of Rs. 20,000/- together with one solvent surety in the like sum, on the following conditions:

2 ba239.17 (a) Applicant shall attend the trial Court regularly on all dates of hearing fixed in the matter.

(b) Applicant shall cooperate with the trial Court for expeditious disposal of the trial.

(c) Application shall not tamper with prosecution evidence in any manner.

Application is disposed of.
