Considering the fact that now there is a compliance made by respondent No.1 with the directions given in the judgment, dated 29/03/2017 about fixation of the seniority, the issue of contempt no longer survives, as now it has to purge. However, there is also a direction given by this Court to consider the question of entitlement of the petitioner to receive other relevant and consequential benefits in accordance with law. Keeping this question open, I am of the view that now this petition can be disposed of. In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of keeping the question about entitlement of the petitioner to receive consequential benefits open.
