2) The respondent no.3 educational Institution is prepared to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground and accordingly, a proposal was forwarded to the Joint Director of Higher Education, Nagpur. Shri Thakare, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent nos.1 and 2, makes a statement that the Joint Director of Higher Education, Nagpur has recently forwarded the said proposal to the Director of Higher Education, Pune on 29/9/2020 and the same is pending.

2010wp1943.20 2/2 3) In view of the aforesaid position, we dispose of this petition with a direction to the Director of Higher Education, Pune to take decision on the proposal forwarded by the Joint Director of Higher Education, Nagpur on 29/9/2020 within a period of one month from today. If no decision is taken during the said period, costs of rupees ten thousand will have to be paid by the Director of Higher Education, Pune to the petitioner.

4) This order be communicated to the learned Counsel appearing for the parties, either on the e-mail address or on WhatsApp or by such other mode, as is permissible in law.
