The limited prayer is made in the present petition to issue direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the application filed by the petitioners under Section 28-A of Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

Mr. D. P. Thakare, the learned Addl.G.P. for the respondents/State, on instructions, makes a statement that within a period of eight weeks the application filed by the petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 would be decided.
