We have perused the writ petition and the documents filed alongwith it.

It appears that the petitioner intended to contest elections and hence had sought verification of her caste claim. The Scrutiny Committee by its order dated 12.06.2008 invalidated the said claim. When this writ petition was filed, the petitioner was aged about 64 years. No interim relief was granted when the writ petition was admitted. It is likely that the petitioner who is presently almost 75 years of age may have lost interest to have her caste claim validated. She is free to take appropriate steps. The writ petition is disposed of. Rule stands discharged. No costs.
