Mr. Rode, the learned AGP has tendered across the bar affidavit indicating that amount of Rs. 9,73,786/- has been credited to the account of the petitioner, after deducting TDS, which according to him takes care of the grievance of the petitioner regarding the step up of pay as directed by this Court by the judgment dtd 27.4.2022 in Writ Petition No. 4449/2021. Mr. Shiralkar, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, does not dispute that this satisfies the claim of the petitioner for the step up pay. He however, contends that the petitioner will be entitled to interest on account of delayed payment.

Considering that the grievance has been redressed and there is delay on the part of the petitioner to approach this Court, we are not inclined to grant any interest. The
