This is an application filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of FIR bearing No.179/2021 registered at Amravati Police Station, under Sections 498-A, 504, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code at the instance of non-applicant no.2. On completion of investigation, chargesheet is filed and R.C.C. No.1502/2022 is pending before learned JMFC, Court No.1, Amravati.

During the pendency of the matter, matrimonial dispute between applicant no.1 Nilesh and non-applicant no.2 Kajal is amicably settled and they are residing together and leading a happy married life. Applicants and non-applicant no.2 are present in the Court. They are identified by their respective advocates. They confirm about the amicable settlement of their
2 apl 419.24.odt matrimonial dispute. Non-applicant no.2 has no objection for quashing of the proceedings.

In view of the amicable settlement of the dispute and the affidavit filed by non-applicant no.2-wife, application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (i).
