The petition is filed under an apprehension that the respondent authorities may take some action against the petitioner contrary to the provisions of Maharashtra Moneylending (Regulation) Act, 2014. The petition cannot be entertained only on the basis of apprehensions. In any case, when a particular enactment provides for a particular procedure to be followed, the respondents in law are bound to follow the same. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the petition. The Criminal Writ Petition is rejected.
