The communication dated 15.01.2024, by the Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur Division, Nagpur to the Director of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary), Directorate of Education, Pune, indicates that the date of first appointment of the petitioner, was 05.07.1997, in view of what has been held in Jyoti Prakash Chougule vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors., Writ Petition No.2354 of 2012 decided on 07.01.2014 for the purpose of deciding the superannuation pension, the date of first appointment will have to be taken into consideration, since the aforesaid communication dated 15.01.2024, which is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification, indicates the first date of appointment of the petitioner. 2.

Mr Deshpande, learned counsel for the petitioner, on account of the above communication dated 15.01.2024, seeks leave to add the Director of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary), Directorate of Education, Pune, as party respondent No.3.
