Mr. J.B. Kasat, the learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 3 - Bank has placed on record communication dated 14.3.2024, issued under the signature of the Chief Officer. According to him, till the decision of appeal bearing No. 678/2023, pending before the State Government, the directions issued in public notice will not be acted upon. 3.

Statement made by learned counsel Mr. J.B. Kasat is accepted as an undertaking to the Court and the communication referred above is taken on record.

That being so, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with direction to respondent - bank. 5.

In the aforesaid background, we direct respondent - bank to maintain status quo for a period of three weeks, even after decision of the appeal bearing No. 678/2023.
