In continuation of the earlier order dated 30-4-2024 passed by this Court, Shri M.K. Pathan, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, has invited our attention to the affidavit placed on record in compliance with same, duly sworn by the Additional Transport Commissioner Shri Jitendra Patil. According to the learned Assistant Government Pleader, since the Transport Commissioner is not available, the Additional Transport Commissioner has sworn the affidavit. He, therefore, prays that the leave be granted to place the said affidavit on record. 3.

In view of appropriate explanation, we accept the affidavit tendered by the Additional Transport Commissioner Shri Jitendra Patil.

The affidavit speaks of the Standard Operating Procedure taken recourse to by the Department of Transport in the matter of processing the request of the petitioner and it is claimed that a prominent endorsement is already made on the transport permit issued to the petitioner. 5.

The aforesaid fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner and he submits that the grievance of the petitioner made in the petition is redressed.

In the aforesaid background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of both these petitions by accepting the affidavit tendered by the Additional Transport Commissioner.

Both these petitions stand disposed of.
