The impugned order dated 21/04/2020 (pg.23) passed by the Tahsildar also imposes a penalty upon the vehicle of Rs.2,00,000/-, which is not permissible as the jurisdiction for the same is with the Sub Divisional Officer, in view of which, that part of the order, which imposes penalty of Rs.2,00,000/- upon the vehicle, is quashed and set aside. Rest of the order is maintained.

The writ petition is accordingly partly allowed in the above terms. No order as to costs.
