The petitioner was aggrieved by the order dated 03/06/2021 passed by the District Magistrate/Collector, Gadchiroli thereby rejecting the petitioner's application for grant of entertainment license. Against that order the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the State Government. Since the said appeal filed in December 2021 has still not been decided, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking appropriate directions.
In the light of aforesaid and as the petitioner's appeal is pending since December 2021, it is directed that the same shall be decided by the respondent No.1 within a period of eight weeks from the date of petitioner's appearance before the respondent No.1. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent No.1 through its representative on 29/08/2022. The
76-WP-2541-22 2/2 decision taken be communicated to the petitioner. With these directions the writ petition is allowed in aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
