Heard Shri S.R. Narnaware, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Shri A. Deshpande, learned Counsel for respondent no.1 and Shri Adgaonkar, learned A.G.P. for respondent no.2. Respondent no.3 is deleted.

Petitioner claims that he has joined employment in the year 1995 and his caste claim is still pending. Reply filed by respondent no.2 shows

Order 1302wp1500.14 that caste claim has been forwarded for verification some time in the month of July, 2013 only.

Shri Deshpande, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Scrutiny Committee states that caste claim will be verified within a period of 9 months.

In this situation, we direct the petitioner to appear before respondent no.1 Committee on 10.04.2015 and to abide by its further instructions in the matter. The Committee shall attempt to verify the caste claim of petitioner within a period of 9 months thereafter. Interim order granted on 21.03.2014 shall continue to operate till then and shall be subject to it. Writ Petition is, thus, partly allowed and disposed of. No costs.
