The complaint of the petitioner was that the directions given by this Court by the order passed in Writ Petition No. 2382 of 2012 on 7th January, 2014 to forward the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner to the University within two weeks, were not complied with.
In response to the notice issued by this Court, the respondents have filed reply pointing out that the respondents had filed Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 10440 of 2014 before the Supreme Court challenging the order passed by this Court and the Special Leave Petition came to be dismissed on 28th April, 2014 and within a week thereafter the proposal has been sent. The respondents have also tendered unconditional apology in the reply.
2 cp64.14 Considering the facts of the case and accepting the unconditional apology tendered by the respondents, the notice of contempt is discharged.
The petition is disposed. No costs.
