DATED : 05/04/2022 The petitioner has challenged Clause 2 of the Circular dated 03.09.2020 issued by the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Department, Pune by which Labour Co-operative Societies are required to reduce the number of members from twenty five to fifteen since the quantum of work available with them is reduced. By filing an additional affidavit the petitionersociety has sought to demonstrate that its work has not reduced and the clause under challenge for reduction in the number of members is unjustified.

Issue notice to the respondents, returnable in three weeks. Ms. Kalyani R. Deshpande, learned Assistant Government Pleader waives service of notice for the respondents.
