The issue pertains to challenge to the notice dated 12-2-2024 issued by the respondent-Deputy Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Nagpur Regional Unit, Nagpur, whereby the seized gold to the extent of 3341.750 grams (in foreign origin) was sought to be disposed of.

Mr. S.N. Bhattad, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submits that till the adjudication is concluded, the respondent shall not be acting on the notice dated 12-2-2024 and no steps shall be taken for the disposal of the seized gold for which the petitioner is claiming charge over it.

That being so, the statement is accepted as an undertaking given before the Court.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
