Considering the challenge raised in the petition, we permit the petitioner no.1 to appear before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur, on 15.04.2025 as she is claiming substitution of her candidature in the light of the judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No. 3701 of 2022 (Kalpana wd/o Vilas Taram and anr. vs. The State of Maharashtra and others) with connected writ petitions, decided on 28.05.2024.

The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur, shall consider the claim of the petitioner for substitution and for grant of compassionate appointment in the light of the judgment in Kalpana Vilas Taram (supra). 4.

If so required, the petitioner shall produce the copy of the petition alongwith its annexures before the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur.

The Chief Executive Officer to communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before him/her.
