The grievance of the learned Assistant Government Pleader on behalf of the respondent no.4 is that except for the covering letter at page 145, dated 12/02/2024 nothing else has been received, as a result of which, it is unable to determine whether the proper stamp duty has been paid thereupon and then to register the document. 2.

A perusal of the communication dated 12/02/2024 also does not indicate any enclosure to the same, considering which, in case the original document with the appropriate stamp duty in terms of the Maharashtra Stamp Act, 1958 is paid thereupon and the document presented, the respondent no.4 shall consider the question of registration of the same in terms of the law applicable.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
