In these writ petitions the order passed by the appellate Court staying the decree for eviction as passed by the trial Court is under challenge.

On 25.11.2019 the proceedings were adjourned in view of the fact that the learned counsel for the respondents had submitted that the said respondents would be commencing their arguments before the appellate Court. Today it is informed that the respondents have commenced their arguments before the appellate Court and hence the appeals could be decided finally within a short period. In that view of the matter the writ petitions are disposed of by directing the appellate Court to decide Regular Civil Appeal

wps2159.2160..19 Nos.381 of 2017 and 382 of 2017 preferably by 15.02.2020. The appeals be decided on their own merits. All points raised are kept open. No costs.
