DATE : 18.01.2017 By this contempt petition, the petitioners have sought action against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order, dated 18.6.2014 in Writ Petition No.5924/2013. According to the petitioners, the contempt petition was filed, as despite the specific directions to the respondents to pay the arrears, the same were not paid.
Shri Deshpande, the learned Counsel for the petitioners, however, fairly states that there is a substantial compliance of the order, inasmuch as some amount is paid and there is a communication served on the petitioners that the rest of the amount would also be paid within a short time.
1801cp144.15.odt Shri Rathi, the learned Counsel for the respondent no.3 states that as soon as the funds are received from the Government, as a request is made in that regard, the amount would be released in favour of the petitioners. In view of the aforesaid statements, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
